Today’s Positive Thought: I can successfully do anything I set my mind on achieving.
I am amazed at how much I have learned about the internet in less than two years; starting from scratch – and I’ll be “50″ in January so I’m really not in the groove of this technical stuff.
I started out with absolutely “0″ knowledge and no idea where to start.
Then I found a company that taught me, step-by-step how to build a website.
They explained an incredible, priceless amount information I wouldn’t trade for all the money in the world by teaching me a lot about what goes on under the “hood” without being too techie.
Now, it wasn’t all easy but it has all been worth it!
I took what I learned from them, experimented a lot, and now I have ventured out on my own to build this wordpress.org blog. This is cool, and I am so excited to share this with you.
One thing I know now, I am not afraid to dig in because I am not afraid I can’t do it anymore.
If you have always wanted to build a website but didn’t know where to begin, check out what I started with… you won’t be disappointed. Feel free to watch this video for more details.
But if you’re not sure, I suggest starting out with a wordpress.com blog. It’s free and you’ll get a chance to experiment a little.
So which one is for you?
A website that you learn to build and understand what it’s really all about (and BTW this way has a lot more value to it especially if you are new to the internet and are looking to make money online), or do you want to experiment with a free wordpress.com blog first before you move on to fry bigger fish?
Take a moment and compare my three sites:
- The first site I built by learning the “under the hood” stuff (highly recommended). You can see it by clicking on the on the GFYD Homepage link on the Nav Bar on the left.
- The second site, my first blog, I built with wordpress.com. It was fairly simple to get started and remember, it’s free.
- This next one I built, my third, I did with wordpress.org – my new blog – this one.

Learning how to build a website is fun and challenging. But the rewards are awesome. One of my dreams was to bring my product line to the internet which is why I decided to learn how to do it.
